Bohemia Manor Wine is grown directly from the vines at Bohemia Manor Farm. All of the wine is produced from the state-of-the-art wine production facility at Bohemia Manor Farm. You can come see the production facility in person at the property!
Augustine Herman offered to produce a map of the region for Lord Baltimore in exchange for a grant of land. The offer was accepted, and the grant was made in September 1660, initiating Herman's 10-year effort to create the map.
Augustine Herman was granted 4,000 acres on the Bohemia River, which became known as Bohemia Manor Farm.
Augustine Herman completed his map of the region, establishing the outline of what is now the state of Maryland.
Senator Thomas Bayard built a 12,750 sq. ft. Georgian-style brick home, now known as Bohemia Manor House.
The Manor House was fully restored to its original glory, maintaining the same architecture as when it was originally built.
Bohemia Manor Farm vineyard was created with 22 acres of vines. A state-of-the-art production facility and a wine tasting room overlooking the Bohemia River were also established.
Vivamee acquired Bohemia Manor Farm and expanded the farm to include a restaurant, dock bar, overnight guest housing, and opened the Manor House to the public for the first time.
